“Some people say that ‘children should be seen and not heard’. But we know that some of the most insightful things come from the mouths of children. Some of the most inspiring ideas are created in the minds of young people.

Young people are often portrayed negatively in our culture. Unfortunately, these misconceptions spin an unhelpful narrative that says children are up to no good; That young people who may get into trouble or end up on the wrong side of the law have no hope for the future.

We believe that young people are the way forward – they are the future. And for those who have experienced a more difficult upbringing compared to their peers, we believe that second chances can turn lives around for the better.

That’s why we are asking you to help us give young people the chance for their voices to be heard.

£15 Allows a child from a deprived background to go on the only holiday they will get that year.

£25 Will pay for a family to go on a weekend residential break, to promote family interaction and create positive memories for children dealing with crisis.

£100 Will allow a child to receive regular 1-2-1 therapeutic befriending with the aim of improving mental health, reducing anxiety and decreasing family breakdown and the risk of homelessness.

This summer we will be highlighting some of the experiences of children who have been affected by homelessness.

Young people have the potential to do great things, if only they had the opportunity for their voices to be heard. If only they had a platform from which they could launch into a world of endless opportunities.

Will you join us as we invest in the future?

Thank you.”
